The negative effects of overwork


I have read somewhere that a good employee is a hard worker who works hard to fulfill his or her responsibilities.

Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person.

When you do this, you increase the risk of developing certain diseases and also increase the risk of damage to certain parts of the body.

Excessive work is a term used to describe working hard or long-term. This expression is also related to the act of doing beyond the power and ability of the performer.

Of course, working beyond your means has nothing to do with fulfilling your responsibilities.

A study by the United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) shows that working more than 55 hours a week can have a detrimental effect on a person’s health.

however there are those who overdo it for a variety of reasons but this can lead to a variety of diseases including ‘stroke’.

Adam Borland, a psychiatrist at Cleverland Hospital in the United States, says overworking can have a detrimental effect on an employee’s health.

“Excessive levels of cortisol, which can lead to stress, can lead to mental health problems, high blood pressure and other health problems,” he said.

Difficulty sleeping

Studies show that exercising at least 150 minutes a week is good, as it helps prevent stress, lowers your risk of high blood pressure, helps control your blood sugar and reduces your risk of heart disease and diabetes.

Relationships with others end

If there are times when you miss your friends and the good times you had because of spending time at work, know that there are important moments you are losing both on your part and on your friends.

It is well known that when you have a friend who avoids loneliness and increases happiness, it helps the brain to function properly so you are going to lose it gradually.

This is confirmed by Dr Borland. “People are now neglecting her and her work, just because she is worried about what to expect from her job when they come back [fear of work].”

Drug addiction

Borland argues that it is common for a large number of drug addicts to experience anxiety or when they feel differently which can be caused by overwork.

Drug use can lead to decreased productivity, decreased physical strength while at work and all other side effects.

Signs that you have begun to experience the effects of overwork include extreme fatigue, carelessness and neglect of your health, sometimes starting to feel like you have no reason to do the job and so on.

However, there are some things you can do to help you avoid the consequences of overwork.

You can set boundaries and plan what needs to be done on that day and set the deadline, give guidelines so that you can not do what is not planned for that day unless it is really necessary.

In order to relax the brain and body prepare for what to do after work such as exercise, reading a book or doing yoga and more.
